Oxford Utd 1-0 AFC Wimbledon

Dean Morgan's first goal for Oxford United kept them in the play-off places with victory over AFC Wimbledon.

The visitors created the best chances in the first half, with Luke Moore and Billy Knott going close.

But Morgan, buried a low drive under Seb Brown's body 12 minutes after half-time.

Oli Johnson saw his strong header hit the crossbar for the hosts, who had manager Chris Wilder sent to the stands in injury time.

VIEWS FROM THE DRESSING ROOM

Oxford United manager Chris Wilder told BBC Radio Oxford:

"I thought it was a really good game of football between two teams who play the game the right way.

"I've not seen a better game than that all season.

"They were a threat, they passed the ball really well, but we scored a cracking goal before yet again giving the ball away too cheaply in the last 10 minutes.

"That has resulted in my frustration, I've abused two drinks bottles and I shouldn't have done it. I've apologised to the players because it's important I keep my discipline."
