Worcester City 2-1 Gainsborough Trinity

Greg Mills
Mills made his debut for Derby in the 2-0 defeat at Middlesbrough in 2009.

Worcester City came back to beat promotion rivals Gainsborough Trinity and climb to within two points of the Blue Square Bet North play-off places.

The visitors took the lead against the run of play through Ryan Kendall's close range finish.

City striker Mike Symons levelled the game on 69 minutes from the edge of the box with his 16th goal of the season.

And two minutes later winger Greg Mills curled home the winner from just outside the area into the top corner.

Worcester City manager Carl Heeley told BBC Hereford and Worcester:

"We said at half-time that it was a bit of an injustice as we shouldn't have been behind after dominating the first half.

"There was a determination there that has been evident for a few weeks now.

"They weren't going to lie down and we were not going to be beaten tonight.

"I felt that after five or 10 minutes there was only one team that was going to win that game."
