Chelsea await Friday's Champions League quarter-final draw in Switzerland as England's only remaining representative in European competition.
The Blues beat Napoli 5-4 on aggregate in their last-16 tie on Wednesday and could now face the likes of Barcelona, Real Madrid, Bayern Munich or AC Milan.
Other teams included in the draw are Marseille, Benfica and Apoel Nicosia.
Manchester United and Manchester City were knocked out of the Europa League on Thursday.
The draw for the Champions League will commence at 1045 GMT with the draw for the Europa League following at 1200.
United were beaten 5-3 on aggregate by Spanish side Athletic Bilbao, while City were eliminated by Portuguese side Sporting Lisbon on away goals following a 3-3 aggregate scoreline.
And both, along with Arsenal, have exited the Champions League, leaving Chelsea as the only remaining team from the Premier League.
The last time only one English club made the last eight was in the 2005-06 season when five Premier League sides qualified but only Arsenal progressed beyond the last 16, going on to reach the final where they were beaten by Barcelona.
However, the manner of the victory over Napoli, with Roberto di Matteo's team coming back from a 3-1 deficit to win 4-1 at Stamford Bridge and go through 4-3 on aggregate, has given Chelsea added belief just three weeks after former boss Andre Villas-Boas was dismissed.
Chelsea midfielder Frank Lampard said: "We have to believe and we do believe that we can beat anyone.
"It's obvious that Barcelona are probably the strongest team along with Real Madrid.
"But we must carry on because we do have ability in this team, particularly at Stamford Bridge on a night like that.
"No-one's going to want to come and play here when we've got that about us."
The draw for the Champions League contains representatives from seven countries: England, Spain (2), Italy, Germany, France, Portugal and Cyprus.
The Europa League draw contains three Spanish clubs, two from Germany and one representative each from Portugal, the Netherlands and Ukraine.
With the draw open, Madrid could face Barcelona, with the ties to be played on 27/28 March and 3/4 April.
The semi-final pairings will also be determined and those games will take place on 17/18 and 24/25 April with the final being held on Saturday 19 May at the Munich Arena.
