East Stirlingshire 2-2 Elgin City

Archibald MacPhee's 84th-minute penalty earned Elgin a late point against East Stirling as both sides were reduced to 10 men in a scoring draw at Ochilview.

John Coughlin's side took the lead after seven minutes when Kevin Turner tucked away Scott Maxwell's cross.

David Niven then equalised for the visitors four minutes before half-time, the defender's third goal in four games.

Andrew Stirling regained the lead for the hosts when he applied the finish to Jamie Benton's assist in the 58th minute.

But the Shire were denied only their sixth league win of the season six minutes from time when Ryan Frances was sent off for a foul on substitute Paul Millar inside the area, allowing MacPhee to convert from the penalty spot.

Elgin's Mark Durnan was then sent off for a second yellow card three minutes into stoppage time.
