Brighton & Hove Albion have extended the loan stay of Manchester City's creative midfielder Gai Assulin until the end of the season.
The 20-year-old Israeli has made four appearances for the Seagulls since joining last month.
Brighton boss Gus Poyet said: "He's been out for a while and needs to play to get back to his best.
"We think he's the type of player that perfectly suits the way we play. Everybody gains from this situation."
Assulin wrote on his Twitter page: "Just extended my loan with Brighton till the end of the season!! Really happy!!"
