Swindon 0-0 Bristol Rovers

Alan Connell wasted Swindon's best chance as the League Two leaders played out an uneventful goalless draw with Bristol Rovers.

Connell sliced onto the underside of the crossbar from four yards out in the first half, and was then denied by keeper Scott Bevan after the break.

Both teams pushed for a winner, but neither could forge an opening.

Matt Harrold's weak shot for Rovers was comfortably saved by Wesley Foderingham late on, and that was that.

Missed chances cost us - di Canio

"The first half was our best of the season. We absolutely dominated and we created a minimum of four clear chances and seven or eight potential chances.

"If we play like this then we should score but today it didn't happen.

"The intensity we put in the first half, you cant keep going for 95 minutes but if we maintain this level then I will be happy."
