Stranraer 4-1 East Stirlingshire

Stranraer kept their promotion hopes alive with a comfortable win over bottom side East Stirlingshire.

The home side took the lead after nine minutes, when striker Craig Malcolm picked up Stephen Stirling's pass and slotted home from the centre of the penalty area.

Their lead was doubled eight minutes later by Michael Moore, who met Steven Noble's pass from the left and finished from close range.

Stranraer were gifted a goal on the stroke of half-time when Rhys Devlin turned the ball into his own net to end a disappointing first half for the visitors.

Man of the match Stirling registered his side's fourth with a fine free-kick from 20 yards after 52 minutes, before Shire's Kevin Turner grabbed a consolation goal in second-half injury time.
