Bury all but secured their place in League One for next season with victory against mid-table Bournemouth.
The result means that the Shakers move nine points clear of the drop-zone with three games left to play.
Mike Grella gave the hosts an early lead finding the top-right corner of the net with a delightful clip from just inside the six-yard box.
Bournemouth could have equalised late on but Jonathan Bond pulled off a stunning save to prevent Wes Fogden.

Bury manager Richie Barker told BBC Radio Manchester:
"If we're going to be successful, we've got to learn to win games ugly and I thought we did that to a certain extent.
"Very rarely do you win a game 1-0 in style.
"I think we've put enough teams and enough points between us and the bottom four now for us to have nearly done it.
"I wouldn't want the season to finish as a damp squib so I think it's nice if we can keep pushing on."
