Southport's play-off hopes came to an end as two late goals secured a draw for Ebbsfleet.
Ricky Shakes opened the scoring for the Fleet, but just a minute later Andy Owens equalised for the hosts.
The Sandgrounders then went ahead when James Ellison headed home at the back post, before Tony Gray's penalty looked to have secured victory.
But Liam Enver-Marum's header gave the Fleet late hope, before Calum Willock slammed home to earn his side a point.
