East Fife 1-0 Stirling Albion

Stirling Albion's Second Division status looks perilous after the bottom club were beaten by a late penalty against promotion-chasing East Fife.

Goalkeeper Sam Filler denied Steven Hislop twice in the opening 20 minutes as the Fifers pressed for an early goal.

The visitors threatened when John Crawley's effort was tipped behind by keeper Michael Brown.

As time ran out, Gary Thom brought down Robert Linn inside the Stirling box and Ryan Wallace converted the spot-kick in the final minute, leaving Albion five points adrift with two games remaining.
