Florent Cuvelier's second-half equaliser against Huddersfield ensured League One survival for Walsall.
Huddersfield, already assured of a play-off position, took the lead in the second minute when Lee Novak lashed the ball in from close range.
But on-loan Stoke teenager Cuvelier levelled just after the break, converting Mat Sadler's cross.
The point, coupled with Wycombe's late defeat by Notts County, was enough to guarantee safety for the Saddlers.
VIEWS FROM THE DRESSING ROOM
Huddersfield Town manager Simon Grayson told BBC Radio Leeds:
"We were really good in the first half, I thought the game could have been over and done with.
"We never looked in any danger in difficult conditions, in swirling wind.
"It was one of those days where, as well as we played the first half, in the second half things didn't help us."
