Hartlepool 2-1 Leyton Orient

Leyton Orient secured their place in League One for next season despite losing at Hartlepool.

Pools went ahead when Anthony Sweeney lashed home his ninth goal of the season from Andy Monkhouse's assist.

Jamal Campbell-Ryce broke away to clip a deft equaliser over Scott Flinders, who later saved well from Kevin Lisbie.

Ryan Noble glanced home a winner from Evan Horwood's cross, but Orient survived due to Wycombe's dramatic loss to Notts County.

Slade reflects on 'toughest' season

Leyton Orient manager Russell Slade told BBC London 94.9:

"Its been a really tough season from start to finish to be honest, probably the toughest I have had in many ways for lots of reasons.

"We will review this season, not leave anything to chance and turn over every stone.

"We will look to improve and build for next season.

"There are some good things but we can't defend the box, we're switching off and not concentrating."
