Ebbsfleet boss Liam Daish wants strong mid-table spot
Ebbsfleet United manager Liam Daish is targeting 13th in the Blue Square Bet Premier ahead of their final match of the season.
"While that is possible, that's what we're looking to do," Daish told BBC Radio Kent.
"It's another challenge for us. It would be a great achievement for the club and the players to finish 13th.
The Fleet must beat on Lincoln City on Saturday and hope Barrow lose to Newport County.
Ebbsfleet have exceeded all expectations in the Blue Square Bet Premier this season, with Liam Daish guiding his part-time squad to safety in their first season back at the highest level of non-league football.
"It's been a difficult year, with a lot of full-time sides and a lot of travelling," the 43-year-old said.
"It's stretched our resources to the brink, to breaking points in some respects, and we've got through it.
"It's another year of good experience for everyone and hopefully we'll be able to learn from this year and build on that for next year."
