Carlos Tevez wants to stay at Manchester City and claims to have repaired his relationship with manager Roberto Mancini.

But he has started City's last three games, scoring four goals.

"I'm an ambitious person, I want to work hard and win things with City," Tevez told the Manchester Evening News.external-link

The Argentina striker spent several months in his homeland before returning to Mancini's squad in February.

Mancini had insisted Tevez would never play for the club again after the incident in Germany and the player had complained of being treated "like a dog".

Tevez added: "I've felt great since I came back in February, very relaxed and content and just pleased to be back playing football for Manchester City again.

"My relationship with the manager is totally fine, he has been as good as gold with me and there have been absolutely no problems. There's been a lot said and written this season but that's in the past."
