Pardew wary of 'galvanised' Chelsea

Newcastle United manager Alan Pardew says his side will need to be "on their guard" in Wednesday's Premier League match against Champions League and FA Cup finalists Chelsea.

Pardew believes the Blues have been "galvanised" by their caretaker manager Roberto di Matteo.

The fifth-placed Magpies are just a point above Chelsea with three games remaining and Pardew believes his team are "outsiders" in the battle for Champions League qualification, with Arsenal and Spurs also in the mix.
