Queen's Park 1-3 Elgin City

Fourth-placed Elgin recorded back-to-back victories as they beat Queen's Park.

The visitors got off to a flying start when Archibald Macphee collected Paul McMullan's pass before finishing from close range after four minutes.

Despite losing Barry Wilson to injury soon after, City regrouped to limit the hosts to only a handful of chances.

Martin McBride and Ian Watt both went close but failed to test goalkeeper Alexander Clark as a poor first half came to a close.

Jason Crooks doubled the advantage 18 minutes from time when he collected Paul Millar's pass before producing a fine strike from the edge of the box.

And victory was all but ensured nine minutes later when Jamie Duff fired home from close range after Macphee's corner was not cleared.

Craig Smith grabbed a late consolation two minutes from time with a fine strike from the edge of the area.
