Peterborough United tie up Nat Knight-Percival deal

Peterborough United have signed Wrexham's Nat Knight-Percival on a free transfer, handing the defender a two-year deal.

The 25-year-old played 50 times for the Blue Square Bet Premier play-off semi-finalists this season.

He moved to the Welsh club from non-league Histon two years ago and has never made an appearance in the Football League.

"It's a massive step up," he told BBC Radio Cambridgeshire.

"There aren't many players that get the opportunity to jump from non-league to Championship and I'm going to have a right good crack at it.

"This will only be my third year in full-time football so we'll just have to see how things go."

Knight-Percival, a former winger, turned down the offer of new terms at the Racecourse Ground.

The move became public knowledge in April when Posh director of football Barry Fry revealed the club had agreed terms with Knight-Percival, a scenario that frustrated Wrexham, who had yet to begin their play-off campaign.
