Midfielder Matt Hazley has left Crusaders to sign for Dungannon Swifts.

The 24-year-old, who was formerly on the books of Stoke City and also played for Newry City, has agreed a one-year deal with the Premiership outfit.

Dungannon have also snapped up Glenavon's Chris Lavery and Carrick Rangers' Grant Hutchinson.

In other transfer news, Glenavon manager Gary Hamilton is reported to have snapped up Lisburn Distillery midfielder Andrew Kilmartin.

Dungannon management team Rodney McAree and Darren Murphy had indicated that they would be busy in the transfer market over the summer.

The pair have met with a number of other players with a view to adding to the squad for next season.

Meanwhile Scannell brothers Ronan and Chris have agreed to extend their stay at Cliftonville, but goalkeeper John Connolly has been placed on the transfer list.
