Four players from Guernsey have been selected for the South West Counties Under-16s squad.
Josh Addison, Liam Mahon, Paris Pereira and Seb Skillen are the first island players to make the regional side for nine years.
"It's a tremendous honour to be picked for your county," Guernsey FA academy boss James Blower told BBC Guernsey.
"But to go that step on to be picked for your region is a really stunning achievement."
The quartet were all part of the Guernsey side which got to the final of the South West Counties Cup and also played in the league last season.
"For four of the 16 to be from Guernsey, given that there's eight counties to pick from, is a really tremendous achievement and reflects that all four of them had excellent seasons," added Blower.
"I think the success with the academy is that what we've been able to do is get the environment right off the pitch so the players can concentrate solely on the pitch."
