Let's be honest Ireland have a terribly difficult group. I predict they will pick up one point at best, probably against Italy. But as long as they play with commitment and pride like we have come to expect, they will provide entertaining games and hopefully spring a surprise.
Although the Irish lost the game yesterday, I have to say that I was impressed that a team full over Championship, etc, players (ie not top Prem) could play so ceherently as a team. They weren't "comprehensively beaten" by any stretch of the imagination and on another day with the rub of the green might have got a result. They are capable of surpising both Spain and Italy....
