Anton Brown signs one-year Alfreton Town contract

Alfreton Town manager Nicky Law has re-signed Anton Brown on a one-year deal.

The versatile 24-year-old joined the Reds in 2006 and has made more than 250 appearances in both defence and midfield in seven seasons.

Brown was named the club's players' player of the year and supporters' player of the year last season.

Meanwhile central defender Greg Young, 29, has joined Gainsborough Trinity after being released from his contract by mutual consent.

Young joined the Reds on a two-year deal in June 2011 after being released by York City and made made 36 appearances last term.
