Brighton & Hove Albion midfielder Jake Forster-Caskey has signed a new contract with the Championship side.
The 18-year-old, who scored twice in six appearances last season, will remain at the Amex until the summer of 2015.
Seagulls boss Gus Poyet told the club website: "This is very good news for the football club. I'm delighted.
"It's important for us to keep him at the club and to make sure he finishes his development with us."
Forster-Caskey, who has represented England at Under-16, Under-17 and Under-18 level, added: "Brighton's the only club I have played at but every year I have progressed as I've wanted to.
"It was really nice to have a run in the first team last season and now I've done it once I want to get more."
