Guernsey FC have added a third fixture against higher-ranked opposition to their pre-season schedule with the visit of Poole Town next month.
The Southern League Division One South West side will visit Footes Lane on Sunday 15 July, two days after Guernsey host League Two Exeter City.
"It's a great fixture and it's handy for them being just a boat journey away," manager Tony Vance said
Guernsey will also face Leatherhead on 21 July in preparation for the season.
The island side won the Combined Counties League Division One title last season and Vance told BBC Sport: "It's important that you test yourself against the best in preparation for the season ahead and that's what this process is for.
"Fixtures like we've secured are fantastic and it's great for the crowd as well.
"It's also about me managing expectations, last year was fantastic but people are going to have be realistic because it's going to get tougher and tougher, so playing teams of this level will show the public there big step up."
Last year, Guernsey met AFC Wimbledon and a Bristol City side made up mainly of academy players in pre-season.
