Doncaster Rovers secured their place in the second round of the Capital One Cup with a penalty shoot-out win over York.
League Two side York shocked their League One opponents when they went ahead after the break with a superb long-range strike from Michael Coulson.
Rovers levelled when Chris Brown scored from the penalty spot after Lee Bullock felled David Cotterill.
Neither side went close in extra-time and Rovers won the shoot-out as Coulson and Matty Blair missed the target.
Brown, Martin Woods, Kyle Bennett and Robbie Blake all scored for Rovers, while Jon Challinor and Michael Potts netted for the visitors.

York City manager Gary Mills told BBC Radio York:
"There's a lot of positives there. We've shown we shouldn't have to fear anything this season if we go and play like that.
"I couldn't see them scoring. It was a penalty that got them back into the game and at the end of the day penalties have cost us.
"A lot of positives from me. We'll all be disappointed but we get on and get ready for next Saturday now."
