Waide Fairhurst and Arnaud Mendy were on target as Macclesfield beat Wrexham in the Blue Square Bet Premier.
The home side took the lead when Fairhurst poked home after Kieran Charnock had got a touch to John Paul Kissock's corner.
Danny Wright wasted Wrexham's best two chances before substitute Mendy scored Macclesfield's second.
The midfielder was unmarked at the near post and found the net with a header following another Kissock corner.

Wrexham player-manager Andy Morrell told BBC Radio Wales:
"We created probably five or six chances and I think we probably could still be playing now and not scored.
"We weren't clinical enough in the final third and we were sloppy defensively off two set plays.
"I'm more concerned about the two goals we gave away because that's not us. We've got to stop conceding goals if we're going to do anything in this league."
