Brian Graham scored a brace as Raith Rovers beat Hamilton at Stark's Park in their opening First Division clash.
Chances were at a premium in a poor first half with neither side able to create many genuine opportunities.
The hosts' first chance fell to Joe Hamill just after the half-hour mark, but Kevin Cuthbert gathered his shot easily.
Hamilton came closest to taking the lead before the interval, but David McGurn did well to block Steven Hendrie's effort.
The deadlock was broken just after the hour-mark when Graham scored from the penalty spot after being brought down by Martin Canning.
Graham scored his second four minutes from time when he converted Jason Thomson's cross.
And Graham could have sealed the hat-trick minutes later, but for a fine save from Cuthbert.
