Alloa Athletic 1-1 East Fife

Alloa came from behind to earn a point against East Fife at Recreation Park.

The first chance fell to the visitors but David Muir failed to keep his effort down from the edge of the area.

But they took the lead just before the half-hour mark through defender Darren McCormack's fine drive from 18 yards.

Alloa came close to an instant reply but Michael Brown was alert to keep out a shot from Daryll Meggatt.

However, they did equalise in the 74th minute when Stephen Simmons was able to poke a loose ball over the line.
