Burton Albion 6-2 AFC Wimbledon
Four goals in 20 minutes helped Burton thrash AFC Wimbledon to pick up their first points of the League Two season.
Cleveland Taylor fired in from 20 yards, Billy Kee added a second with a deflected free-kick and Jacques Maghoma swept home for 3-0.
Justin Richards buried his side's fourth from 12 yards, while Robbie Weir struck from outside the area and Zander Diamond nodded in a sixth.
A close-range Byron Harrison strike and Pim Balkestein's header made it 6-2.
VIEWS FROM THE DRESSING ROOM
Burton Albion boss Gary Rowett told BBC Radio Derby:
"I was absolutely delighted with the way we set about the game.
"We'd put to the players that losing on Saturday [3-0 against Rotherham] was great in a way because it gave us a reason to get up for the challenge.
"The challenge was could we kick on and produce a performance when we needed it?
"So there was a little bit of pressure on us, even though it was only the second league game of the season.
"I thought we desperately needed to win this game and we did it quite emphatically."
