Sheffield Wednesday boss Dave Jones fumes despite Oldham win
Sheffield Wednesday boss Dave Jones was unhappy with his side's first-half display against Oldham in the Capital One Cup.
The Owls trailed 2-0 to the League One side at half-time before four second-half goals saw them win through 4-2.
"We won a game that we shouldn't have won because for 45 minutes we were not in it," he told BBC Radio Sheffield.
"I'm spitting feathers. That was the worst first half I've seen. I remember the first 45 rather than the second."
He added: "We were never going to come here and just get our own way. One or two of our players thought they could come out and it would just be a stroll and they found out that wasn't the case.
"It was nice to come back into the game but it wasn't a good situation to have been in."
Goals from Jermaine Johnson, a Chris O'Grady brace and Michail Antonio overhauled the deficit inflicted by Jordan Slew and Jean Yves Mvoto in the first period.
The Owls, who were promoted to the Championship on the final day of last season, start their league campaign away at Derby on Saturday.
