Lincoln City boss David Holdsworth has said he will not pressurise chairman Bob Dorrian to sign new players given the club's financial problems.
He told BBC Lincolnshire: "Now is not the time for me to say I'm demanding this or demanding that.
"I know how the chairman is. He knows my thoughts on where we are and if I can improve the bench then I will try.
"I've got other things to worry about with the recovery session for the players tomorrow," he said.
"We'll focus on the future and if we can improve then we will do."
The Imps recently landed winger Luke Daley, 22, on non-contract terms following his release by Plymouth Argyle.
Holdsworth has also brought in goalkeeper Jake Turner, 19 on a one-year contract and defender Graham Hutchison, 19.
However, defender Josh Gowling, 28, has been placed on the transfer list in order to cut the club's wage bill.
