Raith moved up to second in the Scottish First Division after an away win at Falkirk.
Goals from Allan Walker and Pat Clarke either side of half-time were enough to secure a second successive victory.
The result leaves Falkirk without a point after their opening two games as they sit in ninth place.
Falkirk's Lyle Taylor forced a good save from David McGurn after just 30 seconds.
However, it was Raith who opened the scoring in the last minute of the first half.
Jason Thomson's cross was headed on by Brian Graham and Walker turned the ball into the net from close range.
The lead was doubled two minutes into the second half when Clarke collected Walker's cross and fired past Michael McGovern from six yards out.
