The spectacular summer of sport continues on BBC One as Gary Lineker and Colin Murray bring fans the full weekend's round-up of Barclays Premier League action.

They return with Match of the Day (Saturday, 22:30 BST) and Match of the Day 2 (Sunday, 22:25 BST) in its new BBC One slot.

After a busy summer, Gary returns to his familiar home on Saturday nights with some new additions to the punditry line up.

Popular members of the BBC's Euro 2012 team Harry Redknapp and Mick McCarthy will appear alongside familiar faces Alan Hansen and Alan Shearer throughout the season.

Former Tottenham manager Redknapp and ex-Wolves boss McCarthy will bring their considerable managerial expertise and experience to the country's most popular football programme.

On Sunday, Colin will continue to bring his irreverent style to proceedings as he looks back at the day's games alongside a mix of these four big names - plus special guest pundits.

Football Focus also returns to BBC One at 12:15 BST on Saturday to look ahead to the start of the season with studio guests Mark Lawrenson and Peter Reid alongside presenter Dan Walker.

This week's show includes interviews with Manchester United's Nemanja Vidic and Manchester City's Joleon Lescott while commentator John Motson will be reporting live from West Ham ahead of their first match back in the Premier League against Aston Villa.

Final Score with Gabby Logan and guests will keep you across all the latest news as the goals go in around the country from 14:30 BST on BBC HD and streamed on the BBC Sport website. The programme, which is also on the Red Button throughout the afternoon, switches to BBC One from 15:45 BST.

BBC Radio 5 live Sport will have everything covered, including commentary of Leeds v Wolves in the Championship and West Brom v Liverpool in the Premier League followed by the 606 phone-in show featuring Robbie Savage and Darren Fletcher.

The BBC Sport website's live text commentary will kick-off at noon and take you right through the day's main action, including the late match between Newcastle and Tottenham.
