Accrington 0-3 Exeter

Alan Gow's double halted Accrington's winning start to the season as they were soundly beaten by Exeter.

Gow opened the scoring after firing home from 18 yards before Stanley's Luke Joyce had a 15-yard effort cleared off the line by Danny Coles.

Exeter doubled thier lead after Gow tricked his way through on the left before scoring from a tight angle.

Substitute Guillem Bauza then saw his penalty saved before later making it 3-0 after finishing from close range.

Win down to sensible play - Tisdale

Exeter City manager Paul Tisdale told BBC Radio Devon:

"These two wins have been built off sensible play and not trying to do too much too soon.

"As the game goes on we look more and more of a threat.

"It's the positional play that's key and we've shown that in the last two games

"It's a fair start, six points out of nine is okay."
