Barnet 1-3 York

York City picked up their first win back in League football against a poor Barnet side.

Daniel Parslow sent a powerful drive into the bottom corner to give the Minstermen the lead.

Ashley Chambers doubled the lead when he latched on to a lofted through-ball and lashed into the roof of the net.

Jon Nurse, who was later brought off with a neck injury, scored with a smart finish for the hosts, but Michael Coulson fired in low to make it 3-1.

Third goal was massive - Mills

"It's been a good couple of results away from home after the defeat at home last week and I thought we played well.

"I'm disappointed we haven't got the clean sheet again. I thought the goal was sloppy so I'm disappointed with that, and delighted we got the third one on the stroke of half-time because I think that was massive.

"We had two or three other chances, but we've come away from home with three points which feels fantastic."

Barnet manager Mark Robson told BBC London 94.9:

Barnet not good enough - Robson

"We certainly are really disappointed over all, the lads look nervous to be honest.

"At half-time a few choice words were said, and I thought we were better in the second half.

"But still, a lot more improvement is needed, overall we were not good enough.

"We didn't pass, we didn't move, we were very static and we never played the game we wanted to play, it was very disappointing."
