Scunthorpe 0-4 Yeovil
Scunthorpe's losing start to the season continued after they were humbled at home by Yeovil.
Keanu Marsh-Brown put the Glovers in front after he was allowed to run into the box and drill a low shot beyond home keeper Sam Slocombe.
Reuben Reid doubled their lead with a close-range finish before visiting keeper Marek Stech denied Bobby Grant, Mark Duffy and Connor Jennings.
Gozie Ugwu tapped in from close range before scoring a fine solo effort.
VIEWS FROM THE DRESSING ROOM
Scunthorpe boss Alan Knill told BBC Radio Humberside:
"Obviously disappointed and I have to say that the goals against were just not acceptable. We're ok in possession, out of possession though we haven't got what it takes to stop the opposition from playing.
"Gary Johnson has just said to me that we've probably had the same number of chances as them but we haven't made them count.
"I understand why people in the crowd aren't happy but we can turn it around with hard work."
Yeovil Town manager Gary Johnson told BBC Somerset:
"It was a great result for us. Scunthorpe won't be happy with their own performance.
"When they did get through they had Marek to contend with and we found our way through.
"To be fair to them, they didn't give up. I keep saying we've got goals in us and I thought we played some good football in the final third."
