Airdrie United 1-2 Dunfermline

Dunfermline Athletic scored two goals in the last 10 minutes to condemn Airdrie to their first defeat of this season's Scottish First Division.

Airdrie had taken the lead through John Boyle's close-range header in the 26th minute.

The Diamond's goalkeeper, Kenny Arthur, kept the home side's lead intact two minutes into the second half when he tipped Jordan McMillan's effort from the edge of the area, round his post.

However, the keeper could not prevent Andy Dowie from levelling the game in the 80th minute.

Former Airdrie winger Joe Cardle's inswinging corner from the left was met by a powerful header from Dowie in the six-yard box.

Dunfermline sealed the points six minutes later as Stephen Husband headed home Ryan Wallace's right-wing cross.
