Cowdenbeath 1-0 Hamilton

Kyle Miller scored the only goal of the game as Cowdenbeath beat Hamilton in the Scottish First Division.

Miller volleyed home Scott Linton's 12th-minute corner for his first goal of the season.

Darian Mackinnon came close to equalising six minutes before the interval, but his fierce left-footed drive was well saved by Thomas Flynn in the Cowdenbeath goal.

Ali Crawford tried his luck from 20 yards in the second half, but his effort curled the wrong side of Flynn's left-hand post.

Jamie Stevenson went close to doubling his side's lead just after the hour mark, but Accies keeper Kevin Cuthbert got down well to push the ball away from danger.

Jon McShane had a late chance to earn a point for the visitors, but his stoppage-time free-kick flew harmlessly over the crossbar.
