Aberdeen's Peter Pawlett moves to St Johnstone on loan
St Johnstone have signed Aberdeen midfielder Peter Pawlett on a loan deal until January.
The 21-year-old came off the bench in the Dons' 2-0 victory over Morton in the Scottish Communities League Cup on Wednesday.
But, less than 24 hours later, Aberdeen manager Craig Brown allowed the Scotland under-21 international to move to the Perth side.
Pawlett is St Johnstone's seventh signing of the transfer window.
The midfielder, who came through the Pittodrie youth system has made 54 league appearances for the Dons.
Despite being born in England, Pawlett is eligible to play for Scotland following a change of rule allowing British passport holders to play for any of the Home Nations, provided they have been at school for at least five years in that nation.
