Cliftonville 1-1 Glentoran
Cliftonville played with 10 men for most of the match but still held Glentoran to a draw at Solitude.
The Reds had Barry Holland sent-off in the 14th minute for bringing down Andrew Waterworth when the Glens striker was charging towards goal.
However, Joe Gormley gave the home side the lead with a superb lob over Glens keeper Elliott Morris on 22 minutes.
Glentoran pressed in the second half and equalised through winger Stephen Carson's volley 20 minutes from time.
Cliftonville were hanging on at the end as an injury to forward Chris Scannell effectively reduced Tommy Breslin's side to nine men.
Colin Nixon headed over from a good position and then home keeper Conor Devlin saved from Martin Murray.
In stoppage-time Jimmy Callacher fired a shot just over which left Eddie Patterson's Glens having to settle for a 1-1 draw for the second week running.
It had taken them a while to get going and Cliftonville looked the better team in the first half - despite the early dismissal of Holland by referee Raymond Crangle.
The red card means Holland will miss Cliftonville's League Cup match at home to Tobermore United on Monday night.
