Woking slumped to a fourth successive away defeat in the Blue Square Bet Premier at the hands of Hereford.
Ashley Sammons gave the Bulls an early lead with a fine low strike from 25 yards out.
Visiting keeper Aaron Howe did well to keep out efforts from Sammons and Brian Smikle, but could do nothing about a Sam Clucas shot just before the break.
Kevin Betsy finished Dean Sinclair's corner late on to set up a frantic finale, but the hosts held on.
VIEWS FROM THE DRESSING ROOM
Woking manager Garry Hill told BBC Surrey:
"We're having to learn the hard way at the moment but if people aren't going to learn then were going to have to make changes.
"It's hard enough at this level to give teams a 1-0 lead but you can't be 2-0 at half-time - they were self-inflicted [goals].
"You see the frustration from the supporters, things aren't quite going for us at the moment and it does hurt and we are punishing ourselves at the moment. That's the reality at this level."
