Man Utd's draw is more difficult than it looks with much travelling. Chelsea were unlucky to draw Juventus. City were almost certain to be paired with a European heavyweight, and have got to qualify from their group this time if they want to join the top seeds next season. Arsenal got a good draw...
Well, Im an Arsenal fan, i think your all getting a little to tecnical and maybe a little jittery in your worries and responses, all 3 potential teams city, united and the chelsea are beyond there means and have been for a long time, Arsenal are no better except they have a bored of greed people insted of a team full of them :) CL is just another money Cow!
@163 - .eduard_streltsov_ghost 'Window lickers' is an extremely abusive term aimed towards people suffering mental illness and physical handicaps. Its not suitable for a football forum or any forum for that matter. Try and keep your obsession of spouting hatred towards Manchester City and Roberto Mancini under control..
Part 4 ( Last honest !!)...maybe not on the same page. I wouldn't hold my breath hoping for an Arab Spring in the UAE. Having said that, what has been bought can just as easily be sold so if the basics are not right then you may have a point. I can't believe I spent all of this time defending the ex-Council Housers - even if tangentially! May God ( and Lou Macari ) forgive me.
City will crash out of the Champions League..No club in history which has been bodged together in a short time has ever done well in Europe..it may work domestically but in Europe you need the experience to get you through....something City will have in 10years time...
Part 3ESG I think we are on the same page. I suspect that AD need the "insurance" less than a Russian oligarch. I am biased I admit. You'd think things would be easy when wealth comes out of the ground, but there are many instances of countries frittering away good fortune. There is no doubt this is an "investment" in the country's prestige rather than making dirham, but so far so good..
Manchester City draw Real Madrid in Champions League'And what a yardstick it will be, very difficult but exciting.City were quite unlucky in a very tough group last season particularly against Bayern who they dominated, but ultimately going out early led to them winning the Premier League Championship.
This comment was removed because it broke the house rules. Explain
Part 2They chose City - ready built stadium, fan base that stuck with them through the hard times ( even if not worldwide base ), without the succession issues at Old Trafford - The Dark Knight will retire soon and I am old enough to remember what happened after Sir Matt retired - and starved of success. Make this work and what sort of statement does that send to the rest of the world?
@158 .eduard_streltsov_ghost A whole life wasted fretting about the finances of Manchester City...how sad.
