Women's football: Everton beat Liverpool in Mersey derby
Everton scored two stoppage-time goals to dramatically snatch a 2-1 Women's Super League win against Liverpool.
The Reds, second from bottom of the table, looked on course for only their second win of the season following Cheryl Foster's first-half penalty.
The visitors equalised through Gwennan Harries a minute into stoppage time.
And as Liverpool pressed to regain the lead, a breakaway attack led to Harries' strike partner Natasha Dowie grabbing the winner.
Victory saw Everton reclaim second place in the table, five points behind leaders Arsenal who have a game in hand.
But it meant that Liverpool missed out on revenge for a 2-0 defeat at Everton in the first Merseyside derby of the season.
