Suarez gets injured or banned now left with Borini up front!, this is bad news for LFC. Been a LFC supporter all my life, and i admit we look in trouble and will most likely finish mid-table. Passing the ball in triangles in defense is useless. I do predict BR will be gone by xmas.

The thing that amazes me is we all see that we need a prolific striker yet nothing happens.Loads of chances went begging last season, despite good approach play.Since BR has come in it seems to me on this seasons performances nothing much has changed.Still lots of chances -not a lot being converted. All well & good playing pretty tiki-taka football but it's the end product you need to win trophies
BR said he'd be a "nutcase" to sell AC without a replacement. So maybe he is nuts! Missing out on dempsey may be a blessing I don't think he will set the the world alight at spurs. Sahin and Allen are quality signings so there are positives but with a gap upfront BR needs to hope someone can breakthrough or he's in trouble. The talent is there and he has a history for developing youth.
guessing the owners were haunted by the ghosts of deadline deals past, not willing to pay over the odds. There have been no signs that AC was ever going to be good enough, whereas Big Sam can use him as a blunt weapon, which suits his style.Looks like Adam Morgan & Samed Yesil will get a few games. There's noone else.
For those of you who are wondering why BR let Carroll go without a replacement....look at my previous comment, I will repeat it again BR needs to be fired, now.
276I think now he needs to get MO in on a pay as you play basis. Free agent, and we desperately need a goalscorer, to me it seems a no brainer really, if he's up for it.
AB - West Ham are not in debt? maybe you want to check out the annual accounts released by their parent company WH holding limited for january this year. Bank debt 38 million, overall debt 91.2 million. this does not include 25m spent on players this summer. West Ham should be forced to pay back sheff united what they owe before wasting money on average players. better hope you stay up.
It is utterly ridiculous that we have loaned out a player that cost $35m. Utterly inexcusable. As a liverpool fan, i had to create my log in details for this comment. I never comment on these blogs. How dare Rogers do this - absolutely disgusting.
275.Can't believe Rodgers would have sanctioned Carroll leaving without having the promise of a replacement. Unfortunately this is typical Liverpool: Inability to act quickly in the transfer market- Unreal expectations with regard to player valuations.
274 Agree entirely with your sentiments. Unfortunately the yanks know not what they are doing. Rodgers isn't much better, what manager worth their salt gets rid of striker, already knowing he needs one anyway?Have a feeling this will come back to bite him on the backside.
Its jaw dropping incompetence by those who make the deals at LFC.You can't simply ship out an England striker and fail to replace him.Rodgers must be wondering why he joined Liverpool now.The parallels between us and Aston Villa too obvious now to be ignored.Ignorant American owners expecting miracles on an unrealistic shoe string budget.I've written off our season already.
doh... should have stumped up for dempsey. not an extortionate price for a proven goal scorer. convert sterling to a striker a la henry?? do it...
nope..The Hammers are not £100 million in debt..in fact..our debt is nearly paid off...due to having directors who said they would pay it off, and have worked hard in doing so...also..getting Andy Carroll was inspired..Matt Jarvis is gonna have a field day plonking the ball on his head..excellent deal.
West ham were said to be 100m in debt, their net spend must be £25m plus this summer. Are the owners paying or are they placing the club deeper into debt before leaving others to deal with a future Rangers scenario. Not fair on clubs like tottenham, swansea and arsenal that are run by owners who take financial responsibility for their decisions.
