Striker Timmy Adamson got two goals as Crusaders came from a goal down to beat Premiership newboys Ballinamallard.
The Crues had all the early chances but United scored when central defender Mark Stafford bundled the ball in on 21 minutes after a Chris Curran corner.
Adamson's deft touch on a David Gibson cross from the right brought Stephen Baxter's men level in the 35th minute.
Crusaders got their winner early in the second half through Adamson's downward header from Gary McCutcheon's cross.
It meant a first league defeat of the season for Ballinamallard in their first season in the Irish Premiership.
They had been under pressure in the early stages when McCutcheon blasted against the angle of post and crossbar and the former Portadown and Ballymena front man also saw a shot clip the bar.
Adamson had a header from a David McMaster corner cleared away by keeper David Key.
