We must remember this game is a Friday night, so us working fans from North Wales, who are going to Serbia, cannot justify this travel so you may see empty seats. As for the Welsh FA. We were moving forward with Gary and his TEAM, but the new manager did not want to continue with two of the reasons we were moving up the rankings. Soon to be back in the three figure rankings...
Did anyone see the game, living in Australia i dont get to see much at all.It seems we were out classed all over the field?,what do we have to do to get better results.I think the faw have to spend some money on getting the best coach we can afford,i dont care if they come from mars as long as the results inprove.
@51 TaffyHorn said:"What I will say is Coleman isn't the right man for the job in the same way that John Toshack wan't."He does not know what he is talking about. Tosh saved Welsh Football and insisted u21 football was taken seriously.Coleman was, and is, the right man. After the tragic loss of Gary Speed, there was no other alternative.I was there last night!
The England game in the last campaign sold out. An extra 50,000 "Wales fans" appeared from nowhere. Most of them spent the whole time singing about how much they hated England. Funny, but they had obviously paid to see England! I get the feeling that most on this board spouting negativity are in the extra 50,000 club.
I didn't get to see the game tonight, so can't comment on the performance, What I will say is Coleman isn't the right man for the job in the same way that John Toshack wan't. He's just not an inspirational manager. his managerial record shows this.
is that the first call for Coleman's head? within minutes of the end of the first qualifier, could be a record
Get rid of Coleman, should not have had the job in the first place, done nothing as a club manager to earn this job.
BBC TV Wales is showing Scrum 5 whatever tonight and not the Wales game yet again - don't fob me off with BBC radio. Wales and the BBC refuse to think internationally (witness our excuse for an airport - witness international class players like Giggs and Bellamy who are always conveniently "injured") Real opportunities to watch really committed players = national support
27.Sparky Did you? Ugh. Why not have a united Europe side, might even win something then. The logic is the same. I'd rather see a team of 11 Welshmen ... well, 9 Welshman and 2 Englishmen who are pretending to be Welsh ... play. What's the point in watching a team when you only want 3 of the players to do well.
C´´mon Wales and Scotland
Why is it not being played at the Millennium stadium? My accumulator wants Belgium to win, my head knows I need Wales to win- anything to help Scotland qualify :-)
Not long now, time to be positive and get behind the team. No more negative moaning, it bores me to tears. C'mon Wales, no pressure, it's all on them with their star studded team. Cymru am Byth!!
An uneaten pie would disgust Neville Southall
@Ian sankey- 80000 welshies at the GB game? The gorund only holds 72500, and I was on a train 2 hrs before that game from london which was bursting at the seams by the time we reached Swindon with footy fans gonig to cardiff. anyway not long to kick off and im geared up for a 2-1 welsh win followed by a win next week and a trip to brazil next year......
@37 Dai - with a name like that, you should be used to it Welshy!
