Hamilton Accies 1-1 Falkirk

Jon Routledge's impressive strike earned a point for Hamilton against Falkirk.

Lyle Taylor put the Bairns in front on five minutes when he got on the end of Andrew Haworth's cross and slammed home from close range.

The away side had a good chance to double the lead 10 minutes later but Sean Higgins headed at goalkeeper Kevin Cuthbert from six yards.

Routledge's 25-yard strike nestled into the top-right corner to bring Accies level three minutes before half-time.

Grant Gillespie headed over the Falkirk bar after 75 minutes and the hosts almost won it with three minutes remaining, Jon McShane dragging his shot wide.
