Rotherham hung on to claim a goalless draw with strugglers Barnet after Alex Revell's dismissal gave the Millers a late scare.
Striker Revell received a straight red card for a lunge on David Stephens in the 80th minute.
Barnet had chances to take the lead but Jake Hyde nodded wide and Ricky Holmes' effort was saved by Scott Shearer.
At the other end, Revell's header was stopped by goalkeeper Graham Stack while Kayode Odejayi failed to convert.
VIEWS FROM THE DRESSING ROOM
Rotherham United assistant manager Paul Raynor told BBC Radio Sheffield:
"I wasn't too impressed with the first half showing.
"We stood off Barnet for the first 15-20 minutes and let them get a foot hold in the game.
"I just saw Alex Revell trying to block a clearance and the guy goes down. It certainly wasn't two footed, I think Alex has gone in to block a clearance."
