Cambridge 1-3 Kidderminster

A Ryan Rowe hat-trick gave Kidderminster their first win of the season against 10-man Cambridge and lifted them off the foot of the table.

Luke Berry was sent off for the hosts after collecting two yellow cards in three minutes but Josh Coulson's header gave them the lead.

Rowe drove the equaliser into the roof of the net before adding his second from close range.

He completed his hat-trick and the win with a neat finish from inside the box.

Cambridge United manager Jez George told BBC Radio Cambridgeshire:

"It's difficult enough in the situation we're in without going down to 10 men so early in the game.

"We tried to stay in the game as much as we could, with a shape to contain them and then try and get a goal and find a way of releasing the pressure in the second half.

"We did the first bit quite well and switched the system at half-time and sort of went 4-3-1-1.

"We thought we'd be dangerous from set-plays and so it proved - obviously it's disappointing that we then conceded because the longer the game goes at 1-0, the more anxious they get and we fancy ourselves that we can hang on."
