Rodgers expects respect from players & fans

Liverpool manager Brendan Rodgers is ready for an "emotionally charged" encounter against Manchester United at Anfield.

The fixture is Liverpool's first home game since the findings of an independent panel investigating the Hillsborough disaster were published.

Both Rodgers and Sir Alex Ferguson have urged supporters to unite and pay their respects to the 96 fans who died.

Rodgers also expects striker Luis Suarez to shake hands with defender Patrice Evra after he was banned for eight matches for racially abusing the Frenchman in last season's corresponding fixture.
