Defender Rob Atkinson has joined Accrington Stanley on a month's loan from League Two rivals Fleetwood Town.
The 25-year-old will be available to face Aldershot on Saturday.
He told the club website: "The gaffer at Fleetwood [Micky Mellon] mentioned that Accrington were interested and I had no hesitation in saying yes.
"It's a good opportunity to play some first-team football. Accrington are a good, established league side who are doing well this year."
Atkinson began his career at Barnsley and played more than 100 games for Grimsby before joining Fleetwood at the start of last season.
He featured 17 times in the league as the Cod Army stormed to the Blue Square Bet Premier title.
But he has played only once for Fleetwood this season, against Rochdale in the Johnstone's Paint Trophy.
